Calhoun College Merchandise
Tasked with creating a line of apparel for Calhoun College, one of Yale's twelve residential colleges, we had just one limitation; to not use the name "Calhoun." Due to John C. Calhoun's vehement racism and advocacy for slavery, many students on campus feel uncomfortable advertising his name. On the other hand, students love to show their college pride through t-shirts and merchandise.

We seized this opportunity to create a clear and cohesive identity for Calhoun merchandise that is distinctly Calhoun, the college, without advocating for Calhoun, the man.
